About
AVerMedia's entry-level capture card, the only model in its current lineup still relying on Micro USB 2.0 — onboard H.264 hardware encoding compensates for the tiny bus, but caps everything at 1080p60.

The Micro USB 2.0 (480Mbps) interface is too narrow for raw UVC video, forcing the card to use an onboard H.264 hardware encoder instead — this introduces measurable action-to-preview latency versus UVC-based cards. Hard-capped at 1080p60 with no 4K, HDR, or ultrawide support; any source above 1080p gets forced down by the card's own EDID.
