M1/M2/M3-based Macs cannot use dual external displays through this dock's Thunderbolt ports at all — this is a limitation of the M-series chip itself, not the dock. HDMI monitors need an active DisplayPort-to-HDMI (or USB-C-to-HDMI) adapter; passive adapters don't work.
